Admissions
Adult Admissions Process
Adult students should call the Pickens Tech Counseling /Advising office at 303-344-4910 x 27932 or stop by M-F between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for information on program availabilities and tuition and to begin the enrollment process. The enrollment process is as follows: Obtain Program Information: Contact a Pickens Tech advisor for specific program admission requirements. Investigate Financial Aid: Apply early for financial aid if applicable (i.e., at least 6-8 weeks before the semester starts.) Meet with Advisor: Meet with an advisor to schedule appropriate classes. Finalize Registration: Submit Application for Admission, Course Requirement Form, and proof of residency to the Admissions/Registration office. Pay tuition/fees. Confirm program start date class time. All post-secondary students are responsible for their own enrollment, for identifying disabilities and, if needed, requested specific accommodations for any basic skills assessment and support service.
High School Students
High school students in Aurora and outlying districts should contact their home high school counselors to enroll in programs at Pickens Tech. It is important that interested students contact their counselor as soon as possible, so that they can choose an appropriate Pickens program and build it into their schedule. Tuition for students enrolled in high school is typically paid by their school district and not the individual student.
