Admissions Process

Post-Secondary Students interested in any of our programs at Pickens Technical College are encouraged to obtain detailed program information by reviewing the appropriate pages on our website. Click on the Programs link and then choose a link from the menu.  

Step 1
Complete an application for admission (click here) or at the PTC registration office. 

Step 2
Apply for financial aid as early as possible at www.FAFSA.ed.gov

Step 3
Register in person at the admission/registration office in Building B. Show proof of Colorado residency and pay your tuition & fees (students 23 years of age or younger will need to provide a copy of a parent/guardian driver’s license at time of registration)

Submission of the Pickens application indicates intent to register. You must finalize the registration process in person. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis. For program availability please contact the Counseling department.

 All post-secondary students are responsible for their own enrollment, for identifying disabilities, and if needed, requesting specific accommodations for any basic skills assessment and support.

Classes begin January 4, 2010
