Scholarships
| Colorado Scholars Program (CS) Scholarships are available to Colorado residents (for tuition purposes) who have a 3.75 grade average in all courses attempted. Students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours minimum. This scholarship is funded by the Colorado Legislature. Applicants must have completed 12 credit hours in a previous semester at Pickens. Education for Employment This scholarship is designed to benefit students who have graduated from high school within the past year. Scholarships are available to Colorado residents (for tuition purposes) who have a 3.75 grade average in all courses attempted. It is funded by the Colorado Legislature. Each student receives 50 percent of his/her tuition due for two semesters. This program is based on the recipient's academic goals rather than on their past academic performance. High school students may obtain an application from the Financial Aid Office or from their high school counseling office. Prospective students who have completed a GED certificate in the past year are also eligible to apply. Department Scholarships |
The purpose of the departmental scholarships is to provide financial assistance to deserving students who show great potential for a career in any of the fields of training offered by Pickens Tech. Eligibility for these awards varies according to the individual requirements of each of the departments. For more information, contact the Division Chairs. Institutional and Private Scholarships There are scholarships available each semester for new and continuing students. The amounts range from $200 to $500 per semester. These scholarships are merit or need based. Information and/or applications are available through the Financial Aid Office. |
