General Electronics Technology
 



The General Electronics courses are taught over two semesters and consist of electronic theory, laboratory experiments, applied mathematics, and practical applications which prepare students to work with solid state and digital systems. Analog and Digital Electronics are both offered each semester.

Upon completion of the General Electronics Technology courses, the student has the option to seek employment as an electronic assembler, electronic installer or electronic test technician. Students may also continue their electronic education in one of the two areas of emphasis.

This program participates in the CCCS common course numbering system for course transfer to Colorado Community Colleges.

Skills USA
Students at Pickens have historically done exceptionally well at State and National competition in Electronics. Each year students compete for the right to represent the state of Colorado at the Skills USA National competition in Kansas City MO.Congratulations Paul Berdeux, David Rollert and Matt Wicke for a job well done at Nationals!!!!!
Robotics
Robotics has been added to the curriculum at Pickens Technical College in response to the industry trends and requirements that the workforce have a working knowledge of the subject.
