Times: MTRF: 12:10-3:00pm & Wed: 12:55-3:00pm*

Students in the Teacher Cadet Program will be involved in a fast-paced, innovative, hands-on curriculum where they will gain knowledge about teaching and learning. The teacher cadets will develop and master effective skills that will be helpful in college and beyond, such as presentation, public speaking, writing, communication, and reasoning. This is a year-long honors elective where each student will make a difference with children as they "try out" teaching in a "mini student teaching" experience. Prerequisite: Application process, permission of instructor, and 3.0 grade point average.
