• Stealing money through internet ‘scams' results in millions of dollars being stolen a daily basis
• Deaths caused by internet harassment
• Identity theft
• Kidnapping and rapes can be a product of internet chat rooms

 There are people on the internet who may not be what they say they are.

• Do not give your name, home address, school name, phone number or your picture on the internet
• Do not write to someone on the internet that has made you feel scared
• Do not meet someone without the permission of your parents
